Wow! Peonies are such a standout. Painting tall peony bouquets at The State Room in Boston was fun: big luscious bunches in all shades of pink and white, with smaller pink roses snugly nestled in. And the fragrance! I have carried the scent of this flower with me since I was little. To me they say luxury and comfort–like a bubble bath or satin sheets.
