True Event | Crush Boutique | Fashion Night
The always amazing True Event recently hosted an event at Crush Boutique in Boston, Massachusetts for brides who wanted to learn about the latest fashion for attending a wedding, rehearsal dinner, bridal shower, or bachelor party. They designed some tablescapes for two (see photos) along with some other spectacular vendors like Paper Moss, Petal Floral, a Jenny Packham dress from Everthine, Person & Killian, Fireside Catering. WeddingWire was also on hand for the event.
I’ll let the girls from Crush tell you a little more about it in their words:
One of the best parts of my job is spending countless hours dressing women for some of the biggest moments of their lives. Often, it’s a first date. Later, they’ll recount how excited they were about their new Crush top and what they paired it with. We’ll talk about where they went to dinner, where the mystery man grew up, and how funny it is that they have so many mutual friends and hadn’t met before. When that budding romance develops, we’ll dress them for dinner with the parents, a weekend away, and their first wedding as the new “girlfriend.” And then, when it’s their wedding, there are engagement photos and parties, bridal showers and rehearsal dinners to dress for. All the while, we chat about the place settings, the invitations and the food. When the pictures come in, we swoon over their dress and their special day. There’s nothing better than sharing in someone else’s happiness.
Last summer when Crush’s owners, Laura and Rebecca, and I worked with the fabulous ladies from True Event and Paper Moss on a bridal showcase in our Newbury Street store, we were struck by their creativity, attention to detail and warm personalities. We instantly fell in love with their work. With ink, paper and imagination, these girls bring a bride’s vision to life.
When we decided to plan a spring event at our Beacon Hill shop to highlight this year’s trends, we were so excited to once again share their talents with our brides. As Caitlin from True Event, Emily and Ana from Paper Moss, and Becca from Petal transformed our Beacon Hill shop into a stunning wedding scene, we fell in love with their designs… and a certain beaded Jenny Packham dress from Everthine in Madison, Connecticut.
While our guests sipped champagne and indulged their sweet tooth with nibbles from Fireside Catering, (what I wouldn’t give for one of those mini cannolis right now), Molly from WeddingWire was on hand with totes and sunglasses to chat all things summer nuptials. Lauren from Person + Killian captured the entire evening on film.
Our Charles Street store’s first wedding was like any other fabulous reception, lovely details, fabulous food, and great company – we can’t wait to play host to another.
Thanks so much to True Event for sharing! Check them out and others in the Glam Guide.
